On December 17, Taiyuan, Shanxi, recorded a minimum temperature of minus 20 degrees Celsius. CR-Taiyuan initiated its emergency plan with no hesitation, conducting emergency response activities in order, including train scheduling, de-icing and snow removal, passenger evacuation, and equipment inspection.
