2nd Anniversary of the Opening and Operation of the China-Laos Railway

On December 3, the China-Laos Railway celebrated its second anniversary since the commencement of its operation. As of December 2, the railway has transported a total of 24.2 million passengers and 29.1 million tons of cargo, with cross-border freight exceeding 6 million tons. The increasingly prominent effects of the Golden Passage are injecting new vitality into regional economic and social development. (See related reports in the second edition.)
