Recently, the Xi’an-Beibu Port-Laem Chabang Port Chemical Special Train departed from Xi’anguojigang Railway Station, carrying goods from Russia. After being transported by the CRE train to Xi’an, the cargo continued its journey via the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor train directly to Beibu Port in Guangxi. From there, it was shipped by liner to its final destination, Laem Chabang Port in Thailand. This serves as a vivid example of the effective connection between the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor train and the CRE train. On December 8, construction officially commenced on a key project of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor—Huangtong-Baise Railway. Once completed, it will establish the most convenient maritime freight route from the southwest inland to the sea.
The opening of new routes and the breakthrough of various projects showcase the tangible progress made in the construction of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.
