Throughout the year, CR-Wuhan, in collaboration with relevant government authorities, has continuously optimized and improved the “fast customs clearance” mode, significantly enhancing the customs clearance efficiency of CRE trains. Currently, 75% of the CRE trains (Wuhan) operate using the “fast customs clearance” mode. Leveraging measures such as priority loading at port stations, local customs declaration, and optimized customs clearance, the transportation time has been shortened by approximately 2 days, attracting more sources of goods from Hubei Province and surrounding cities.
The Hanxi Transportation Depot, responsible for the operation of CRE trains (Wuhan), actively meets the transportation needs of businesses, flexibly adjusts the train operation plan, and increases the fixed number of train runs to 4 per week. According to market demand, they have also temporarily added 62 runs of CRE trains, providing sufficient capacity guarantee for Hubei-produced goods to reach the world.
In recent years, CR-Wuhan has leveraged its geographical advantages to open multiple international trade routes, such as “Japan-Wuhan-Europe (Mongolia),” “Korea-Wuhan-Europe,” and “Europe-Wuhan-Hong Kong,” continuously expanding the transportation channels of CRE trains. This effort contributes to accelerating Wuhan’s development into an international logistics hub and actively contributes to the construction of Hubei as a new inland open highland.
Currently, CRE trains (Wuhan) have established a pattern through seven railway ports, including Xinjiang’s Alataw Pass and Horgos Port, Inner Mongolia’s Erenhot Port and Manzhouli Port, and Heilongjiang’s Suifenhe Port. The transportation routes cover 52 lines, radiating to 115 cities in 40 countries and regions across Asia and Europe.
